Built-in Wi-Fi does not excuse a weak signal. MAG 322 W1 on 2.4 GHz through three walls will make any MAG portal look worse than MAG 254 on Ethernet. Place the MAG device honestly, then test.
Portal field, default portal, reboot — identical to MAG 322. Dual-band MAG devices such as MAG 256 W2 or MAG 424w3 are the upgrade if 5 GHz matters.
